Betting content firm Vermantia and virtual games developer Kiron Interactive have announced a new partnership to provide a new type of virtual racing that will be based around real content.
The partnership will see Vermantia’s licensed greyhound races, which are recorded at some of the top UK tracks, combined with Kiron’s virtual games platform. The aim is to produce an ever-growing archive of greyhound races, giving greyhound betting fans more choice.

According to the companies, the new product has been produced to boost the player experience. It will be based around a selection of high quality greyhound races taken from a number of UK racetracks, with the choice based on a stringent selection policy.
Among the innovations in the product will be an advanced mathematics platform, cutting edge algorithms and realistic betting prices. The new product will also offer customisable payouts. To supplement the racing footage, there will be a live commentary, made available in a number of languages. The two firms also say that the new game engine can be adapted to work within any set of regulations, so will be applicable in multiple betting jurisdictions.
Speaking about the new greyhound racing platform, the CEO at Kiron, Steven Spartino, said that working with Vermantis enabled his company to find the right combination of top quality greyhound racing content and effective delivery technology to make their innovations possible. He also added that they hoped that product would prove to be a global success.
