The spooky festive season will soon be upon us and one leading Las Vegas casino resort is already getting into the Halloween spirit.
Treasure Island Casino, on the Vegas Strip, has announced a Marvel’s Avengers-themed trick-or-treat event to celebrate Halloween and Nevada Day on Friday October 25.
The special event will be held at the Marvel’s Avengers STATION attraction in the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, which provides an immersive experience for thousands of Marvel’s Avengers fans every day, including digital special effects and authentic props from the comic and movie franchise, such as Iron Man’s suit, Black Widow’s uniforms and Bruce Banner’s laboratory.
And according to the event hosts, all trick-or-treaters who turn up for the event will be given a Marvel’s Avengers gift bag to collect goodies as they explore all the exhibits. There will also be face painting, balloon artist and a superhero making station for children to enjoy.
It is hoped that the event will bolster relations between Treasure Island and the wider Vegas community, with proceeds from all retail and ticket sales going to the Clark County School District, with special emphasis on supporting STEM educational programs.
The admission price has been set at $20 although children under the age of three will be admitted for free and the organisers are hopeful that there will be a big turnout of children dressed as their favourite Marvel super hero, as Clark County students are not required to be in school on that date.
Treasure Island is one of Las Vegas’ most famous casino resorts, having opened in 1993. Owned by Phil Ruffin, it is set to become part of the Radisson Hotel Group later this year under a deal announced back in July, although the resort will retain its current branding.
