Affiliate marketing company Takkaro has expanded its presence in the UK online casino market with the purchase of igaming domain LadyLucks.co.uk.
The site was originally launched by IGT eight years ago, claiming to offer the UK’s first mobile casino, before being sold to Alea in 2017, for whom it remained a prominent online property.
But Takkaro have repurposed the site as a guide to online casino operators, aimed at the UK online player, offering tutorials, games and previews, along with advice on responsible gambling.
The relaunched site follows the creation of a similar online resource, FeedBACKcasino.com, which was set up by Takkaro earlier this year, and billed as the first online comparison site for casinos, offering visitors the ability to filter their search for the best casino site, through filters such as banking methods, software and game type, along with general online casino betting advice.
Speaking about the new venture, Maxime Gross, the Managing Director of Takkaro, said that LadyLucks’ status as a long established brand would enable the company to extend its reach and to offer a better experience for players, but she emphasised that responsible gambling would also be a key part of the package offered to site visitors:
“We care about our players and so LadyLucks will also include a section on responsible gaming where we offer tips that will help players maximise their overall gaming experience while helping them to avoid the dangers of developing a gambling addiction.”
Takkaro was set up by Charles Gross and Alexander Tomic, who founded the pioneering affiliate site Casino Lemonade ten years ago. They also launched the popular Slots Million site and in 2016 created the first ever Virtual Reality casino offering real money gaming.
