Game developer Pragmatic Play has increased its access to the European online gaming market following a deal with Betano, the international brand of Greek betting operator Stoiximan.
The new partnership will enable Betano, which is also based in Greece, to provide the full range of Pragmatic Play games to the online casino markets that it serves in Portugal and Romania. It follows the deal that the company struck last month with another giant of the online casino gaming world, Evolution Gaming, following which Betano was able to offer the full range of Evolution’s online casino content including the popular Deal Or No Deal Live brand.
Speaking about the deal, the head of games at Stoiximan, Yiannis-Petros Kalamvokis, said that their new partner would enhance their online casino platform:
“We are always on the lookout for exciting, engaging content, and Pragmatic Play has some of the most innovative content in the industry.”
The new arrangement means that gives Betano players in both Portugal and Romania will now be able to play popular Pragmatic slots including The Great Chicken Escape and Wolf Gold.
For Pragmatic, the deal continues their efforts to expand their presence in the regulated European online gaming sector, and follows on from commercial arrangements made with Mansion, SuprNation SkillOnNet and Wildz in recent months.
Pragmatic have also recently expanded their roster of casino content, launching a new Live Blackjack game, which includes a number of features such as Auto Stand and Early Decisions that Pragmatic say makes it one of the fastest Live Blackjack titles around. The current Pragmatic platform includes more than 100 HTML5 slots available in 26 languages, and their publicly stated aim is to release as many as three new games per month as they attempt to grow their market share.
