Jerry’s Nugget Banking on October Giveaway

-

The end of the summer season presents a challenge to Vegas casinos trying to attract new custom, and one of the city’s oldest resorts is pulling out all the stops with its latest offer.

Jerry’s Nugget Casino have launched what they describe as the October 10k Giveaway, which runs throughout the month to tie in with the build up to the Halloween season.

The promotion has a range of elements, but the main focus appears to be on the weekly prize draws, which will award 35 players between $25 and $100 in Free Play prizes every Saturday, with the Grand Prize draw on November 2 awarding prizes of between $50 and $1,000 for 25 winners.

Entrance to the draws can be obtained by earning 10 base points through playing slots, video poker, bingo, table games or video keno with a MoreClub player’s card on any Wednesday or Sunday between October 2 and October 30. And prize draw winners won’t have to be present to receive their prize, which will be added to their Jerry’s Nugget accounts automatically.

The resort is also promising to reward bingo players who play at the site on October 31 with an LED light-up wireless speaker, which must surely rate as one of the more unusual casino giveaways.

Jerry’s Nugget is one of the most instantly recognisable casino brands in Las Vegas, based around a mile north of the city’s downtown area. Now owned by the third generation of the Stamis family, the resort has bounced back from the financial difficulties it experienced between 2012 and 2014 and earlier this year it became one of a handful of Vegas resorts to partner with UK bookmaker William Hill to offer speciality sportsbook services to sports betting fans.
