Instant Win Gaming (IWG) have signed a Belgium lottery agreement that will boost their share of that country’s gaming market.
Belgium’s Loterie Nationale have given IWG a three-year deal to provide instant win games after a hard-fought contract process.
As a result of the deal, IWG will add its Progressive Play Remote Game Server (RGS) with over 100 lotto games to the IGT lottery platform in Belgium.
This is not the first time that IWG has worked with IGT. They linked up with the firm to provide games for Norsk Tipping and have worked on the Lotto New Zealand project. They will also be launching two more games platforms in the US before the end of the year.
The Belgium lottery agreement will further boost IWG’s reputation. The firm provides games for a wide range of lotteries, from Canada to the UK and New Zealand.
Rhydian Fisher, the CEO of IWG, said that his firm was looking ahead to the chance to work with the official lottery of Belgium:
“The opportunity to work with the team at Loterie Nationale, one of the world’s leading lotteries, is hugely pleasing and very exciting for us. The lottery’s plans to innovate, entertain and grow online are amongst the most inspiring we’ve seen, so we’re very much looking forward to the partnership.”
Fisher added that IWG would be working to help attract new players and raise funds for good causes in the country. And Kevin Van Belle, of Loterie Nationale, said that he was confident that IWG would deliver high quality instant win products to Belgian players.
Online betting in Belgium was legalised in 2011 and the country has one of Europe’s most developed gambling sectors. However, the lottery remains a monopoly product.
