Online casino games producer Greentube has increased its presence in the Swiss market.
The company, which is part of the Novomatic Group, has announced a deal with the Grand Casino Baden. The new deal comes ten days after Greentube agreed a similar arrangement with Grand Casino Lucerne and represents a determined push to enter the Swiss sector.
Greentube was one of the first game producers to earn the right to supply products to the country after it was given permission by Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission, the Swiss regulator.
Under the terms of the deal, Greentube will give its new partner access to a variety of games that have proven popular with land-based casino players. These games will be available through the Greentube portfolio that is now part of the Grand Casino Baden’s online site.
The Head of Sales at Greentube, Daniel Lechner, said that new deal would be a significant landmark for the firm as they attempt to increase their share of the Swiss market:
“Novomatic being the clear leader with land-based casino slots has allowed Greentube to rapidly secure major partnerships with leading operators.”
Grand Casino Baden was the first official online casino operator in the Swiss market, which was opened in July this year. Their jackpots.ch site will be Greentube’s second partnership in the country, and that list is likely to grow as other operators are awarded licenses.
For Greentube’s partners, the advantages are significant. They will be able to provide their players with a wide range of online casino games, including some of the world’s most popular titles.
The newly regulated Swiss market tightly restricted the access of Swiss gamers to overseas casino sites but has provided an opportunity for operators in the country to establish an online presence.
