Greentube Enters Danish Market

-

Game producer Greentube has entered the Danish market as part of a deal with RoyalCasino.dk.

Greentube is the interactive division of Novomatic and has been growing its share of the Europe online gambling market in recent months. The new deal means that Greentube will provide its games to Royal Casino, which is the only firm in Denmark to offer online and offline gambling.

This is the latest step in Greentube’s European expansion. Earlier this autumn it announced deals with E-Play 24 and Snaitech to enter the Italian market. It also signed up with 888 Holdings to offer games for the UK market and did a deal with Grand Casino Lucerne in Switzerland.

Under the new Danish deal, Greentube will make its content available to Denmark players, including popular titles such as Sizzling Hot and Book Of Ra Deluxe. Danish gamers are already familiar with many of the Greentube games, which are available in land-based casinos in the country.

Per Petersen, the CEO of RoyalCasino.dk said that the deal would prove popular with its players:

“Greentube is one of the leading providers in the market today and we are thrilled to be the first operator in Denmark to offer their content. We are certain our growing customer base will enjoy the addition of its hugely popular games to our existing portfolio.”

Greentube’s Michael Bauer also praised the deal and said that Denmark offered the ideal market for the firm, due to its advanced online regulation. He also said that he was confident both his firm and RoyalCasino.dk will see growth from the deal.

Denmark was one of the first European countries to regulate online gambling and has produced big growth in the sector in recent years.
