Eagles in Unibet deal

-

Leading online betting firm Unibet has signed a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Unibet, which is part of the Kindred Group, will be the first casino sponsor for the Eagles, who won the Super Bowl in 2018. The deal means that Unibet will be an official partner for the franchise.

It also means that Unibet will have a brand presence at the Eagles’ home stadium. Unibet branding will appear in newly built suites in the main part of the Lincoln Financial Field. Unibet signs will also feature on the stadium’s digital sign, the Eagles Nest Tower. There will also be extra exposure for the betting firm through social media and other Eagles digital formats. However, Unibet will not be given the rights to promote their sports betting service.

Speaking about the deal, the Senior Vice President of Revenue and Strategy for the Eagles, Catherine Carlson, said that Unibet was a big presence in the Philadelphia area:

“Unibet’s reputation as a global leader in the online gambling space has helped the company establish a strong, emerging footprint in the Philadelphia market. We are proud to align ourselves with a company that is fully dedicated to innovation, the customer experience, and responsible gaming.”

The deal with the Eagles is the latest evidence of Unibet’s growth in the state. Last month they signed up with Mohegan Sun Pocono in an online betting deal. And having been part of the New Jersey online betting sector since June, Unibet’s apps and site will soon be available in Pennsylvania.

Arnas Janickas, the head of US marketing for the firm said that the deal with the Eagles, one of the most high-profile teams in the NFL was an important part of their US strategy.
