A new gaming operator has been added to the Danish market with the debut of ComeOn.
The online casino and sports betting site ComeOn, which is owned by Cherry AB, was given approval to operate in Denmark earlier this year. The site is now live and available for Danish players.
The launch is another milestone for ComeOn. The firm already owns licenses to provide gaming products in Sweden, Malta, and the United Kingdom, in addition to a sports betting licence that covers the Polish market. And earlier this year, it was given a license to offer casino and sportsbook products in Denmark, with a full five-year maximum license from the Danish Gambling Authority. The Danish launch also comes soon after ComeOn had debuted their Galaksino brand in Finland.
The new ComeOn operation will be the first time that the firm has offered gaming services to customers in Denmark. It includes several brands that will be well known to players in Denmark, including, CherryCasino, EuroLotto, Folkeautomaten, GetLucky, Hajper, Mobilautomaten, Mobilebet, NorgesSpill, Snabbare and Suomikasino.
ComeOn are hoping that the new launch will give it the power to improve its position in the wider markets of northern Europe. The firm currently operates 20 brands globally.
Speaking about the new launch, the Chief Executive Officer at ComeOn, Lahcene Merzoug, said that they were happy to offer their products to Danish customers:
“At ComeOn we are strong supporters of local regulations and it feels great to add yet another regulated market to the list of countries we operate in. We have a strong Danish team that are eager to start and some really great things coming up.”
Gambling in Denmark is heavily regulated, but the industry and its oversight has been praised in Europe for its balancing of business need and player protection.
