Aspire Global has entered the US online gaming market after striking a new deal.
The deal is between its game aggregator subsidiary Pariplay and the well-known online gambling firm 888 Holdings. It is an extension of what has been a long running arrangement between the two brands, and it means US players in New Jersey will be able to access its casino content.
888 Holdings will now be able to offer a range of games titles to its online players, including many from third party firms, all of which hold New Jersey licences.
Speaking about the deal, the CEO of Aspire, Tsachi Maimon, said that it was the next stage of the firm’s plan to make an impact in the US, having acquired Pariplay in June:
“Moreover, we hoped that Pariplay’s iGaming license for New Jersey could act as the spearhead of our future efforts to enter the US market. Today’s news is fully in line with our M&A-strategy and we look forward to realizing the full potential of this opportunity.”
The deal is still subject to a regulatory okay, but if it goes through it will be the latest in a series of deals made by 888 in recent months. In September they extended their role as sponsor of the New York Jets NFL franchise and they continue to focus on the growing US betting market.
And the latest deal may not be the end of Aspire Global’s US ambitions. It has been reported that they are in the process of working on other partnerships to boost their presence in the US sector.
Pariplay was founded in 2010 and is based in Gibraltar. It offers complete gaming platforms for online operators and has partnerships in many different gambling jurisdictions.
