One of the UK’s leading betting systems developers FSB has added to its leadership cadre with the appointment of a new CFO.
Andrew Bowen has been appointed to the Board at FSB, following years of experience in the wider gambling sector. His CV includes time as the eGaming Finance Director at leading bookmaker Ladbrokes. He then worked with gaming company Scientific Games as the Finance Director at their Gaming Division. While at Scientific Games, he was involved in developing their strategy of creating partnerships in numerous gaming sectors, as well as integrating new acquisitions to the existing Group structure.
Speaking about his new position, he said that he had always tried to add value, and that he was keen to work with a company that had a strong and experienced leadership team. He added that the firm had grabbed his attention for its work at the cutting edge of technology in the UK sports betting sector.
The current CEO for FSB, David McDowell, commented that they were delighted to have Bowen on board, and that his experience and his contacts within the industry would add to their success as they attempt to expand into new overseas gaming and betting markets:
“We feel sure he’ll be a true asset to both FSB and all our clients, as we look to grow beyond our initial domestic horizons. FSB’s flexibility, scalability and product range will see us consistently win business, even in the hotly contested U.S. market.”
He also emphasised that part of the attraction of his company was the fact that they had never operated in black markets, and had only focused on offering gambling products in regulated sectors, a factor that he also said played a big part in their ability to recruit their new CFO.
